Short Biography:

Mohamed Ramadan is an economic researcher with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science, and more than 8 years of experience working on issues from inequality to financialization in the global south. He has a firm grasp of economic and financial policy analysis using statistical tools for data analysis like SPSS and excel modeling to forecast economic trends and present findings to decision-makers and/or wider audiences. He also has 3 years of experience working in the financial sector as a macro-economist for an investment firm in Egypt that invests in the equity market in the USA, China, Egypt, and the gulf region. So he is familiar with private sector philanthropy practices, dynamics, and the whole ESG investment. Before that, he has been working as a consultant to small-scale cooperative projects, and as a trainer for alternative economic thinking.
